Welcome!

Welcome to our capstone blog! Mitchell and I are Graduate students in the Public History Concentration at Wright State University. To complete our Master's we must complete a capstone project and this blog is part of fulfilling that requirement. We will be posting periodically about how our project is progressing. Mitchell and I are very excited to create, build and install an exhibit based on the Mars rover Curiosity at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta, OH.
We plan to have an exhibit in which the visitor will be able to pilot a scale model of the Curiosity rover (pictured below) and learn about this and other rovers that have made the trip to Mars. NASA and its Mars Exploration Program have a storied past in trying to get to Mars as well as other space programs abroad. There have been many successes and failures along the way but all attempts to reach the red planet have been able to teach scientists and the public about space travel and the make up of foreign planets.
We hope that you, the viewer, will in enjoy reading this blog and will learn a long with us about Mars and exhibit manufacturing.
